 About Us
Our Journey
Around the turn of the Millennium we began to sense a
calling to be church in a different way. At this time we
were a conventional church doing all the usual church
things. A desire was birthed in us to move away from being
a programme driven church to a simpler expression of sharing
life together as a family of God. We formally ended our
‘old’ life together and began to explore this new
direction.
We
began to meet in homes and to see ourselves as an organism
rather than an organisation. However we recognised
that Church is far more than having meetings - it's about sharing life
together so that we can be a blessing to the world around
us.
Initially we weren’t aware of any others who had experienced
a similar calling, however we continued in faith to pursue
what we felt God had put on our hearts.
Along the way we have developed relationships with other
like-minded Christian communities and we now belong to a
network of organic emerging churches in Worcestershire
and surrounding areas.
On our journey we
have experienced highs and lows but God has remained
faithful and continues to lead us.
Our identity is now based around
Rhythms
of life that help us to participate with God in the shaping
of our lives and our world.
